The Punjab School Teacher Internship (STI) portal lists 18 October 2026, 11:59 PM as the application deadline. Below are the published merit-list, grievance and interview dates, along with the correct government application link.

The portal announcement also says no TA/DA (travel or daily allowance) is admissible for candidates.
How to apply online at sti.pesrp.edu.pk
The government's How it works, FAQ and live registration page describe this process:
- Visit the government website. Open sti.pesrp.edu.pk. Only that domain is the official online application destination referenced here.
- Register or sign in. The live registration form asks for a 13-digit CNIC and password. Already registered? Use Sign in rather than making another account.
- Complete or update your profile. The official FAQ lists Personal Information, Academics, Work Experience and Professional Qualification sections. Review all entries carefully.
- Find available internships. After signing in, review openings shown for your profile and verify eligibility, including your permanent-address tehsil.
- Submit an application and track it. Follow the portal instructions for the desired post. The official FAQ names a Track Application feature inside your account.
The government portal's FAQ describes a registration email in one passage, while the live registration form currently shows CNIC and password fields. Follow the actual form at the official portal if its interface differs from older FAQ text. We have not logged into any candidate account or independently checked live vacancy counts.
Who is eligible, and what is the monthly stipend?
A reproduction of the 6 October 2026 Punjab School Education Department recruitment advertisement (reference IPL-10494) lists the following criteria. The salary and qualification figures are also consistent with the earlier STI Program policy. Confirm the terms attached to the vacancy and your Agreement Letter on the official portal.

- Age: 21–45 years in the published advertisement.
- Professional qualification: B.Ed or M.Ed may receive preference under the stated recruitment criteria.
- Location rule: the official portal FAQ limits applications to schools within the applicant's permanent-address tehsil.
- Gender-specific school applications: the official FAQ says male applicants may apply to boys' schools and female applicants to girls' schools. Check the current vacancy rules for other candidate categories.
- Duration: the reproduced October advertisement states an engagement period from 3 November 2026 to 31 May 2027.
STI merit lists, interviews and selection in 2026
The 23 October list is published on the concerned school's notice board; the official schedule allocates 26–27 October for grievances and 29–30 October for interviews. The final merit list is scheduled for 31 October at 10:00 AM, at schools and on the STI portal.

What changed in September 2026?
A School Education Department notification dated 25 September 2026 addressed both (1) fresh agreements for previously engaged STIs and (2) hiring against vacant slots under the STI Program 2024. These are different actions. Continuation of an existing intern does not mean that every vacancy has been released to new applicants.

The official STI website lists 18 October 2026 at 11:59 PM. The date falls on a Sunday, although the site's announcement mistakenly labels it Wednesday. Check the official announcement for changes.
Where is the official STI online application form?
Use sti.pesrp.edu.pk. This independent guide does not accept applications, identification numbers or payments.
Can I apply outside my tehsil?
The official STI FAQ says you may apply only to schools in the tehsil of your permanent address.
When is the STI final merit list scheduled?
The current government schedule specifies 31 October 2026 at 10:00 AM, on school notice boards and the official STI portal.
Are STI posts permanent government jobs?
No. The October 2026 advertisement describes a fixed-duration internship, not a regular appointment. Do not interpret an internship selection as a promise of permanent employment.
How many STI seats are available in my district?
District allocations reported online are not the same as confirmed open vacancies. Sign in to the official portal to see internships applicable to your location and profile. We do not publish unverified live vacancy totals.
What if the government updates the dates?
The newest notice on the official website overrides this guide. We display the verification date so you can judge whether this page needs rechecking.
